This policy covers the GuyanaUpdates app and the website guyanaupdates.net.
What we collect. The GuyanaUpdates app does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, or any other personal information, and you don’t need an account to use it.
How the app works. The app loads public stories from guyanaupdates.net. When it does, the website’s host, WordPress.com, may record basic technical details such as your IP address and device type. It does this to deliver the pages and keep the site secure, just as it does for any visitor to the website. You can read Automattic’s privacy policy to learn more.
Saved stories. Stories you save to read later are stored only on your own device. They are never sent to us, and you can remove them at any time by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it.
Sharing. When you share a story, your phone’s own sharing menu handles it, and the app does not see who you share with.
Ads and tracking. The app has no ads and does not track you for advertising.
Children. The app is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes. If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
